The University System of Maryland will sponsor its 13th conference for Peoplesoft project teams throughout the MidAtlantic Region on June 2, 2009, hosted by Gettysburg College. This one day event will bring together institutions within USM and throughout Maryland, DC, Northern Virginia, Pennsylvania and Delaware. There will be sessions from our own staffs, from Oracle and from a number of vendors specializing in Oracle/Peoplesoft products and services. We are also very excited to have our conference co-located with the Gettysburg Portal conference which will start immediately at the conclusion of USM conference. Some of our participants may wish to stay on to experience this international portal event. Info can be found at www.gettysburg.edu/portal .

The USM Regional conference is free to institutional participants. The agenda is being built and will be posted as soon as possible. The agenda will include at least 20 individual sessions, covering HR, Financials, Campus Solutions (student), Technology and products. The conference normally draws at 10 - 15 vendors/exhibitors. Oracle has typically had a large presence of its staff as well.
