Finance Committee to Consider Proposal to Renovate Library Space at University of Maryland, College Park
ADELPHI, Md.
(August 22, 2006) - The
Finance Committee of the University System of Maryland Board of Regents at its
next meeting will consider a proposal to renovate space in Hornbake Library at
the University of Maryland, College Park. The meeting is scheduled to begin at
11:45 am Thursday, August 24, in the University of Baltimore Student Center
located at 21 W. Mt. Royal Avenue. Parking will be available in the Maryland
Avenue Garage between Preston and Chase Streets.
The proposal calls
for the renovation of space in Hornbake for use as offices and labs for the
College of Information Studies. This proposal is the only item on the Finance
Committee's agenda.
