Board of Regents to Hold Annual Retreat September 6 at the Universities at Shady Grove

ADELPHI, Md. (August 31, 2007) - The University System of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents will hold its annual retreat on Thursday, September 6, 2007, at the Universities at Shady Grove in Rockville. The public session of the meeting will begin at 1:00 p.m. in the Gaithersburg Room of Shady Grove II, 9636 Gudelsky Drive, Rockville.

Items for review and discussion at the board retreat include:

  • USM Strategic Plan update;
  • Demographic, social, enrollment, and fiscal trends affecting the system;
  • Aligning USM priorities with state needs;
  • FY 2009 operating budget.
