Regents' Finance Committee Holds Capital Budget Workshop, May 17
ADELPHI, Md. (May 10, 2007) - The Committee on Finance of the
University System
of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents will hold a workshop on Thursday,
May 17,
2007, to review and discuss strategic goals for the system's 10-year
capital
program. The public session of the meeting will be held from 1 p.m. to
3:30 p.m. in the Bess and Frank Gladhill Board Room, Health Sciences
and Human Services Library, University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB),
601 W. Lombard Street, Baltimore.
In addition to members of the full Board of
Regents, USM Chancellor William E. Kirwan, and the presidents of the system's
13 institutions will participate. The workshop will help prepare the committee
for its June 21 meeting, at which it will consider capital budget
recommendations to present to the full board on June 22.
Background information and agendas will be
available at the meeting. Sign language interpreters and/or other appropriate
