USM Board of Regents Committee on Advancement Meets November 5
Baltimore, Md. (November 4, 2025) – The University System of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents Committee on Advancement will meet at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 5.

The committee will receive updates on FY25 fundraising totals and year-to-date fundraising progress for September FY26, as well as campaign updates on the UMD campaign launch and fund-raising milestones at several universities. The committee then will hear updates on how the USM Advancement Office works to elevate fundraising and engagement efforts across the USM, and they will review advancement-related BOR policies.
The committee will vote on a review of its charge and convene to a closed session to discuss items exempted from public consideration under the Open Meetings Act. Those items concern consideration of action of two naming requests by one institution, to name two outside facilities after two individuals and/or a company.
