USM Board of Regents to Hold Special Meeting on May 19

Baltimore, Md. (May 16, 2025) – The University System of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents will hold a special meeting at 4 p.m. on Monday, May 19. Access to the public meeting is available via the following dial-in information:

The board will vote on a resolution authorizing institutions to take certain personnel actions in fiscal year 2026. The board then will vote on whether to reconvene in closed session to discuss items exempt from public consideration under the Open Meetings Act.

Those items are an advertising media buying services contract award and consultation with legal counsel on recent federal actions.
