USM Board of Regents Committee on Finance Meets on February 13

The committee will vote on the authorization of an electric infrastructure project for a new electric bus fleet at the University of Maryland, College Park.
The committee also will hear several information items. Those are the fiscal year (FY) 2024 audited financial statements; USM FY 2026 operating budget update; USM FY 2026 capital budget update; review of USM capital improvement projects; and planned use of Largo sale proceeds for University of Maryland Global Campus.
The committee will vote on whether to reconvene in closed session to discuss items exempted from public consideration under the Open Meetings Act. Those items are the awarding of contracts for instructional design support services; IT professional consulting and technical services, audio-visual hardware and services; consideration of the acquisition of real property in Riverdale Park; and the lease of properties in the City of Baltimore.
