Regents' Finance Committee Meets February 13 to Review Capital Improvement Projects and Requests
ADELPHI, Md. (February 7, 2007) - The Committee on Finance of
the University System
of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents will meet Tuesday, February 13,
2007, to
discuss the system's FY 2008 operating and capital budget requests and
to
consider capital improvement requests for two projects at the
University of
Maryland, College Park (UMCP). The public session of the meeting will
begin at 2:30 p.m. in the Minnegan Room of the Johnny Unitas Stadium
Field House, Towson University, Towson, MD.
Items on the committee's
agenda include:

Discussion of FY
2008 USM operating and capital budgets;

Increase
authorization for the conversion of UMCP's Cole Student Activities Building swimming pool;

Request
authorization for UMCP's north campus storm water drainage improvements;
-
Report on USM's
Minority Business Enterprise activity;

Review of USM
capital improvement projects.
