USM Board of Regents Committee on Organization and Compensation Meets May 31

Md. (May 27, 2016) -- The University
System of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents Committee on Organization and
Compensation will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 31. The meeting will be held in
the Board Room, 14th floor of the Saratoga Building at the University of
Maryland, Baltimore. The building is located at 220 North Arch Street,
Baltimore, MD.
In public session, the committee will vote on
technical amendments to Board of Regents Policy VII-10.0, pertaining to the
review of certain contracts and employment agreements.
The committee then will vote in public on
whether to reconvene in closed session. In closed session, the committee would
discuss issues specifically exempted in the Open Meetings Act from the
requirement for public consideration. Those issues are an update on labor
negotiations and discussions of memoranda of understanding; annual reviews of
USM presidents and USM senior staff; modification of a USM employee's
employment contract; and discussion regarding recommendations for presidents'
compensation in fiscal year 2017.
