USM Regents Committee on Finance Meets September 29
Adelphi, Md. (Sept. 25, 2015) -- The University System of Maryland
(USM) Board of Regents Committee on Finance will meet at 10 a.m. on Tuesday,
September 29 and consider several action items, including a memorandum of
agreement (MOA) with the Maryland Transit Administration regarding the
Maryland-National Capital Purple Line.
The meeting will
take place in the President's Board Room, 14th floor of the Saratoga
Office Building at the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB). The building is
located at 220 North Arch Street in Baltimore, Md. At 10 a.m., the committee
will vote publicly on whether to reconvene in closed to consider items
specifically exempted in the Open Meetings Act from public consideration. Those
items are the awarding of a master contract for on-site renewable energy and
consideration of the investment of the USM Common Trust Fund.
The committee is scheduled to reconvene in public session at 10:45
a.m. The MOA regarding the Purple Line is a request from the University of
Maryland, College Park (UMCP). Other voting items before the committee include
the Towson University facilities master plan and a comprehensive technical
review of USM human resources policies. The full agenda and supporting
