USM Board of Regents Committee on Organization and Compensation Meets May 27

-- The University System of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents Committee on
Organization and Compensation will meet at noon Wednesday, May 27. The meeting
will be held in the Board Room, 14th floor of the Saratoga Building at the
University of Maryland, Baltimore. The building is located at 220 North Arch
Street, Baltimore, MD.
In
public session, the committee will vote on two policy revisions regarding
performance reviews of senior leaders in the USM. The first revision concerns
performance evaluations of the chancellor and the USM presidents and center directors.
The second revision concerns the board policy on the five-year review of USM
presidents.
The
committee then will vote in public on whether to reconvene in closed session.
In closed session, the committee would discuss an issue specifically exempted
in the Open Meetings Act from the requirement for public consideration. The
exempted issues are personnel items concerning the review of a coach's contract
at the University of Maryland, College Park and a review of the annual
evaluations of USM presidents.
