USM Board of Regents Committee on Organization and Compensation Meets Oct. 14
Adelphi,
Md. (Oct. 13, 2014) -- The University System of Maryland (USM) Board of
Regents Committee on Organization and Compensation will meet at noon on
Tuesday, Oct. 14.
The meeting will be held in the Board Room, 14th floor of
the Saratoga Building at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. The building is
located at 220 North Arch Street, Baltimore, MD.
In
public session, the committee will vote on a proposed policy on incentive-based
compensation for athletic directors and coaches. The committee also will hear
an information item on the presidential compensation process.
The
committee then will vote on whether to reconvene in closed session. In closed
session, the committee would discuss issues specifically exempted in the Open
Meetings Act from the requirement for public consideration. Those issues are a
proposed memorandum of understanding for University of Maryland Eastern Shore
(UMES) sworn police officers and AFSCME; review of two coaching contracts
(men's and women's basketball at Coppin State); discussion of a president's
compensation; and a proposed Board of Regents evaluation process.
