USM Board of Regents Committee on Organization and Compensation Meets Sept. 11

Md. (Sept. 10, 2014) -- The University System of Maryland (USM) Board of
Regents Committee on Organization and Compensation will meet at 4:30 p.m. on
Thursday, Sept. 11.
The meeting will be conducted via conference call. The number is 1-888-830-6260 (access code:

In
public session, the committee will vote on a proposed policy on incentive-based
compensation for athletic directors and coaches.
The
committee then will vote on whether to reconvene in closed session. In closed
session, the committee would discuss issues specifically exempted in the Open
Meetings Act from the requirement for public consideration. Those issues are a discussion of service fees in collective
bargaining negotiations and consultation with counsel concerning
potential litigation.
