Board of Regents to Hold Special Meeting Sept. 7 via Conference Call
Adelphi, Md. (Sept.
6, 2014) -- The University System of
Maryland Board of Regents will hold a special meeting at 5:30 p.m. Sunday,
Sept. 7, via conference call. The call-in number is (888)-285-4585 (access code: 547724).
In open session, the Board of
Regents will take a public vote on whether to reconvene in closed session. In
closed session, the board would consult with staff and counsel about pending
litigation by an employee, an issue specifically exempted in the Open Meetings
Act from the requirement for public consideration.
