Board of Regents to Hold Special Meeting Today, August 7
Adelphi, Md. (Aug. 7,
2014) -- The University System of Maryland Board of Regents will hold a special
meeting at 12:30 pm today (Thursday, Aug. 7). The meeting will be held by
conference call. The call-in number is 888-285-4585 (participant code: 399400).
In open session, the Board of Regents will take
a public vote on whether to reconvene in closed session. In closed session, the
board would consult with staff and counsel about pending litigation, an issue
specifically exempted in the Open Meetings Act from the requirement for public
consideration.
