USM Board of Regents Committee on Organization and Compensation Meets June 12
Adelphi, Md. (June 10, 2014) -- The
University System of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents Committee on Organization
and Compensation will meet at noon on Thursday, June 12. The meeting will be
held in the Board Room, 14th floor of the Saratoga Building at the
University of Maryland, Baltimore. The building is located at 220 North Arch
Street, Baltimore, MD.
The
committee will take a public vote on whether to reconvene in closed session. In
closed session, the committee would discuss issues specifically exempted in the
Open Meetings Act from the requirement for public consideration. Those issues
include two proposed memoranda of understanding (MOUs) between the University
of Maryland, College Park and AFSCME, for exempt and non-exempt employees;
pending litigation by an employee; annual performance reviews of six USM
presidents; and discussion concerning the USM Chancellor's performance reviews of
his senior staff.
