USM Board of Regents Committee on Audit Meets June 11
Adelphi, Md. (June
9, 2014) -- The University
System of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents Committee on Audit will meet at 10
a.m. on Wednesday, June 11. The meeting will be held in the Chancellor's
Conference Room at the University System of Maryland headquarters, 3300
Metzerott Road, Adelphi, Md.
During
the public session, the committee will discuss and then vote on proposed
standards regarding information technology security. The
committee will hear several information items, including an update on USM
Office of Legislative Audit activity.
The
committee then will vote on whether to reconvene in closed session. In closed
session, the committee would discuss issues specifically exempted in the Open
Meetings Act from the requirement for public consideration. In closed session,
the committee would discuss matters regarding specific personnel; ongoing legislative
audit matters; security of USM IT/IS Systems; investigative matters that could
lead to criminal prosecution; and administrative matters.
