USM Board of Regents Committee on Organization and Compensation Meets June 4
Adelphi, Md. (June 2, 2014) -- The
University System of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents Committee on Organization
and Compensation will meet at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 4. The meeting will
be held in the Board Room, 14th floor of the Saratoga Building at
the University of Maryland, Baltimore. The building is located at 220 North
Arch Street, Baltimore, MD.
During
the public session, the committee will conduct a review of several retirement
incentives: term leave policy for faculty; policy on separation for regular
exempt employees; and a proposed retirement and incentive plan.
The
committee will then vote on whether to reconvene in closed session. In closed
session, the committee would discuss issues specifically exempted in the Open
Meetings Act from the requirement for public consideration. Those issues are a proposed
memorandum of understanding between Coppin State University and the Fraternal
Order of Police for sworn police officers; pending litigation by an employee; annual
performance reviews of five USM presidents; and an honor for a USM president.
Agendas
and supporting materials for meetings of the Board of Regents and its
