USM Board of Regents Committee on Audit Holds Special Meeting April 25

Adelphi, Md. (April 24, 2014) -- The University System of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents Committee on Audit will conduct a special meeting at 8 a.m. on Friday, April 25. The meeting, to be held via conference call, will be accessible to the public in the Chancellor's Conference Room at the University System of Maryland headquarters, 3300 Metzerott Road, Adelphi, Md.

The committee will convene publicly and immediately vote on whether to reconvene in closed session. In closed session, the committee would discuss issues specifically exempted in the Open Meetings Act from the requirement for public consideration. For this meeting, the exempted issues concern information technology security matters. The closed meeting would comply with a specific statutory or judicially imposed requirement that prevents public disclosures about a particular proceeding or matter.
