USM Board of Regents Committee on Audit Meets March 24
Adelphi, Md. (March
21, 2014) -- The University
System of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents Committee on Audit will meet at 10
a.m. on Monday, March 24. The meeting will be held in the Chancellor's Conference
Room at the University System of Maryland headquarters, 3300 Metzerott Road,
Adelphi, Md.
The
committee will convene publicly and discuss several information items,
including USM half-year financial statements and a software conversation at the
University of Maryland, College Park (UMCP). There will also be an update on
legislative audit activity.
The
committee then will vote on whether to reconvene in closed session. In closed
session, the committee would discuss issues specifically exempted in the Open
Meetings Act from the requirement for public consideration. For this meeting,
those issues are personnel matters at Coppin State University; intellectual
technology/intellectual security matters at UMCP; legislative audit matters
that are in process; and USM Office of Internal Audit administrative activity.
