USM Board of Regents Committee on Organization and Compensation Meets September 11

-- The University System of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents Committee on
Organization and Compensation will meet at 3:00 pm Wednesday, September 11. The
meeting will be in the Board Room on the 14th floor of the Saratoga
Building at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. The building is located at
220 North Arch Street in Baltimore.
The first agenda item will be a public vote on whether to
reconvene in closed, executive session. With the passage of a vote to meet in
closed session, the committee will review an employment contract, applicable under Board of Regents policy VII-10.0;
a compensation issue for a USM president; review of two collective bargaining
memoranda of understanding (MOUs) and one MOU in negotiation; and an update on
labor relations issues.

The Committee on Organization and Compensation discusses
only matters that concern compensation and personnel. These compensation and
personnel matters fall within the proper guidelines of the Maryland Open
Meetings Act for holding meetings in closed session.
