USM Board of Regents to Hold Special Meeting August 30 via Conference Call

Md. (Aug. 28, 2013) -- The University System of Maryland (USM) Board of
Regents will hold a special meeting via conference call at 3 p.m. Friday, August
30 to discuss three information items.
Public access to the meeting is available in the Chancellor's
Conference Room in the Elkins Building at the USM headquarters, 3300 Metzerott
Road, Adelphi, MD.
The full board will discuss the selection of possible topics for the
annual board retreat (October 3-4) and educational forums of future meetings of
the full board during the 2014 fiscal year.
Members of the Board of Regents Committee on Organization and
Compensation will discuss an information item regarding the review process for
USM presidents.
A public vote by the full board then will be taken on whether to
reconvene in executive session.
