USM Regents Advancement Committee Meets May 8
Adelphi,
Md. (May 6, 2013) -- The University System of Maryland (USM) Board of
Regents Advancement Committee will meet at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 8. The
meeting will be held in the Chancellor's Conference Room in the
Elkins Building at the USM headquarters, 3300 Metzerott Road, Adelphi, MD.
The
committee will hear several information items, including a fundraising report
and an extended discussion regarding dashboard indicators as used by USM
advancement leaders.
The USM Offices of Institutional Research and
Advancement have worked with the vice presidents for advancement across the USM
to develop a dashboard of fundraising activity to be presented to the Board of
Regents on an annual basis. Each campus identified peers in advancement for
comparative purposes. Dashboards are intended to measure critical areas such as
overall giving, alumni participation, endowment building, and resources
deployed to support fundraising.
At the conclusion of the public meeting, the committee will vote on
whether to reconvene to executive session. Background materials and the agenda are
available at http://www.usmd.edu/regents/agendas/adv050813.php.
Sign language interpreters and/or other appropriate accommodations
for eligible individuals with disabilities will be provided upon request.
