USM Regents Advancement Committee Meets February 6

Adelphi, Md. (Feb. 1, 2013) -- The University System of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents Advancement Committee will meet at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 6. The meeting will be held in the Chancellor's Conference Room in the Elkins Building at the USM headquarters, 3300 Metzerott Road, Adelphi, MD.

The committee will vote on a proposed revision to the USM gift-related naming policy, focused on the naming of facilities and major academic programs. The policy also covers honorific naming.

The committee also will discuss several information items, including:

  • Final reports on the fundraising campaign and the campaign close;
  • Cost of the fundraising summary report;
  • Followup to the Advancement presentation to the full Board of Regents on November 2, 2012.
