USM Board of Regents to Hold Special Meeting May 30
Adelphi, Md. (May 24,
2012) -- A special public meeting of the University System of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents has been called for 8 a.m. Wednesday,
May 30. The meeting will be held via conference call. Public access to the
meeting is provided in the Chancellor's Conference Room in the Elkins Building
at the USM headquarters, 3300 Metzerott Road, Adelphi, MD.
The board will vote on the fiscal year 2013 schedule of
tuition and mandatory fees. The board also will vote on a request from Towson
University for a $2.9 million increase in project authorization funding for the
renovation of two campus residence halls. The increase would be funded entirely
with institutional funds.
