USM Board of Regents to Meet April 6 at UMBC
The University System of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents will meet in
regular public session on Friday, April 6 at 1 p.m. on the seventh floor of
the Albin O. Kuhn Library at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
The Board will consider several agenda items, including:
- Presentation of Regent's Faculty Awards to 12 faculty members from various USM
institutions
- USM enrollment projects for 2001-2010
- Comparison data for USM institutions and their peers
- USM policy on conduct, discipline, assistance and education for abuse of drugs
and alcohol for exempt and non-exempt staff employees

Semi-annual report on the status of Salisbury State University's Ward Museum

Proposals for new academic programs, including B.A./B.S. in theatre and
B.A./B.S. in dance, both from Frostburg State University, as well as others from
other institutions that are awaiting consideration by the Regents' Committee on
Education Policy

Modification of USM policy on the common academic calendar

Shared governance accountability plans

Follow-up on campus crime report, focusing on alcohol, drug and weapons
violations
